The Oloid Top (or Tumbling Top) is made by German Topmaker Christoff Guttermann and is two toys in one. It is made of two pieces of anodized aluminum, one half titanium-grey and the other blue. Turn the pieces one way and it's a spinning top, turn the pieces a quarter turn and it becomes an oloid. An oloid (also known as a sphericon) is a three dimentional shape made of two intersecting circles. When it is tapped lightly or placed on an incline, the oloid will wobble left and right as it rolls. Diameter = 1 1/4 inches (32 mm), Height = 1 1/4 inches (32 mm).
