The Long Distance Runner, made by German Topmaker Christoff Guttermann, isn't your ordinary top. It comes in three parts: The stem, the body, and the cord. You wrap the cord around the groove in the body, put the stem into the hole in the top of the body, and pull the cord. Because the stem sit loosly in the body, you simply pull it out as it spins and the body will continue for several minutes. This is definitly a unique top. It is made of brass, aluminum, and wood. Use caution when playing with any top that has a pull string. They spin much faster than ordinatry tops and could be dangerous. Diameter = 1 inch, Height = 1 inch.
