Hello, my name is Mark Pulley. I started The Color of Life in early 2006.

Here's how it happened:   On Christmas, 2003, I fell ill and developed fibromyalgia. As a result, I had to withdraw from my classes at college where I was studying programming. The next two years were full of a lot of pain and frustration. I could no longer do the things I loved and I wondered how I could ever provide for my family. But then a blessing came in disguise.

Stressed and frustrated by the pain, I searched for ways to calm my nerves. I finally found relief when I began using a combination of ear plugs, self-hypnosis and nature cds I made. After weeks of trial and error, I created Underwater Ambience.

It was then that I realized that I'd been blessed because I'd been stressed. I decided to start a business and help others. While trying to think of a name, I told my family that I wanted to sell products that make life more beautiful, the way color does for a painting. So, I decided to call it, The Color of Life.

Since then, I've added additional products that make life more enjoyable. I now sell a variety of spinning tops, optical illusion art, unique toys, and prints.

I use Firefox as my browser and Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mail. In Firefox, I use the Googlebar extension, and the All-in-One Gestures extension.
